This Privacy Policy explains how Quup Studio ("we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you play NexRival or visit quup.app. If you have questions, contact us at support@quup.app.
1. Who is responsible
Quup Studio is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy, under the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK) and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You can reach us at support@quup.app.
2. The data we collect
The data we collect depends on the features you use.
Data you give us
- Your username or display name, and profile details you choose to add.
- Messages you send to other players, when chat is available.
- Information you send to our support, such as your e-mail address and your message.
- Reports you send about other players.
Data collected automatically
- Game account identifiers, such as a player ID created by the game.
- Game progress and statistics, such as level, XP, coins, trophies, rankings and match results.
- Information about your matches, used to show match history and to keep the game fair.
- Technical data, such as IP address, device type, operating system, app version and error information.
Data from partners
- If you sign in with a third-party account (for example Google or Apple) when this option is available, we receive an account identifier and the information you allow.
- If you make a purchase when in-app purchases are available, the app store tells us about the transaction so that we can deliver it. We never receive your card or bank details.
3. Why we use your data
- To provide the game (performance of a contract): create your account, save your progress, run matches, rankings and social features, and deliver purchases.
- To keep the game safe and fair (legitimate interests): prevent cheating, fraud and abuse, moderate content and enforce our Terms of Use.
- To support you and improve the game (legitimate interests): answer your requests and fix errors.
- To meet legal obligations: where the law requires us to keep or disclose data.
- With your consent, where the law requires it. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
We do not show ads, we do not sell your personal data and we do not use it for advertising.
4. Who can see your data
- Other players can see your username, profile, rankings, match results against them and messages you send to them.
- Service providers that help us run the game and the website, such as hosting, data storage, monitoring, e-mail and customer support providers. They may use your data only to provide their services to us.
- App stores and sign-in providers, such as Google Play and, later, the App Store, to distribute the game, process payments and handle sign-in.
- Authorities, when the law requires it or to protect the rights and safety of our players and our service.
5. International transfers
Your data may be processed in countries other than your own. When we transfer data, we use the safeguards required by law, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses and the safeguards in Article 9 of KVKK.
6. How long we keep your data
We keep your data while your account is active and as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. When you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal data, unless the law requires us to keep it. Some information is kept for a limited time, for example to resolve disputes, prevent fraud or meet legal obligations. Match records that also belong to other players stay in their history in anonymised form, shown as "Deleted player".
7. Deleting your account
You can ask us to delete your account at any time. E-mail support@quup.app with your player ID or username. We delete your account within 30 days and confirm by e-mail. Full steps: quup.app/delete-account.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw your consent. Under KVKK you also have the rights in Article 11. To use your rights, e-mail support@quup.app. We may ask you to confirm your identity. You can also complain to a data protection authority, such as the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) in Türkiye or the authority in your EU/UK country.
9. Children
NexRival is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you are under the age of digital consent in your country, play only with the permission of a parent or guardian. If you think a child has given us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
11. Website
quup.app does not use cookies, analytics or trackers. Our hosting provider processes your IP address to deliver the website and protect it.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the game or on this website.
